You can make a difference in these children’s lives by your generous donation. There are several ways to donate and help practice “true religion” helping the orphans and widows:
ONE-TIME GIFTS:
One-time gifts help with special needs such as annual uniforms, school curriculum, Christmas presents, needed tools, equipment and supplies.
MONTHLY PARTNERSHIPS:
Some may find it easier to give a monthly donation by Paypal or credit card to help the children and the general fund. Each child needs several sponsors to cover their total expenses. You can also help by praying and communicating encouragement as the children grow in Christ. If you would like, you can also commit to helping with the general budget at whatever amount you are able without direct responsibility to a particular child.
We are very thankful for the teams that join us throughout the year to help finance many of the projects that exist at NLCH, as well as all of the generous, faithful monthly supporters and child sponsors that help keep things running. However, there is always a need for more sponsorship and monthly support.

INTERNSHIPS
The available jobs for interns are numerous, from working in our bilingual school as teacher or aide to helping on any of the self-sufficiency or building projects on the property. Opportunities to disciple a group of children, lead daily devotions, teach art, music, crafts, or other valuable skills are also highly needed.
MISSION TRAINING INTERNSHIP
We understand that there are often young people and others that are feeling a call to ministry in some way whether at home or in missions that don’t know where to begin.
We believe that an internship serving with experienced missionaries and ministers is an important or even essential step toward a healthy beginning in ministry.
Therefore we are offering this internship experience in Jalaca, Honduras at New Life Ministries
This internship will function in the following way:
- Open to interns from English speaking countries.
- Interns will learn principles of living on the mission field while helping in different capacities at New Life Children’s Home and other outreaches of New Life Ministries Honduras.
- The classes will be divided into modules that allow an Intern to join the Internship in the time frame that his schedule/calendar permits. The months of June – August will be the time frame available.
- Once your time frame is established the intern will commit to certain guidelines for sake of getting the most from the experience.
- If your internship must be completed over several summers or other time frame you may take the other modules that would complete the course.
- Sample Modules: Your Identity, Your Calling, Daily Experience on the Mission Field, Relationship with God, Become a Powerful Prayer Warrior, Personal Connection with the Word of God, Worship, Understanding another Culture, How to Prosper in a foreign country, etc.
- The available jobs for interns are numerous, from working in our bilingual school as teacher or aide to helping on any of the self-sufficiency or building projects on the property. Opportunities to disciple a group of children or lead daily devotions are numerous; plus teach art, music, crafts, or other valuable skills.
Our commitment to the interns is facilitating their time here, be a covering for them, give classes to encourage a rounded growth in ministry, a ready ear and a word of encouragement and counsel. The Lord uses the circumstances generated in a children’s home environment to teach, train and mature the interns in multiple ways. The interns that have given of themselves here for various periods of time have had life-changing experiences to share. Not only do the interns grow in their faith and maturity in Christ, they also help the children do the same. The relationships that they build with our children are lasting ones.

We are taking on more and more Extern Students who would not be able to study as well as our long term kids that are being reinserted in their families a per instruction of the local Social Services. This creates a group of people, families of these needy kids that need supportive services created for them to enable them to provide for the children in need. We envision having teams from the US partner with the kids that they sponsored and the families in different ways. We can encourage these extended families by building some needed addition to their lifestyle in their small town where they live.

There are many poor villages that lack in medical care. We visit one of these villages with a local church team and medical personnel to hold a free clinic and pray with the people. There is also a free pharmacy with medicine and vitamins for the needy. Many have been blessed while blessing others.
